The EVWBT Series Bidirectional Dual-Channel DC Test Power Supply enables bidirectional energy flow, supplying power to the load while feeding regenerative energy back to the grid. This energy recovery capability reduces energy consumption and operating costs, making it ideal for energy-regenerative test benches.
Featuring two independent DC output channels, the EVWBT Series allows voltage, current, and other operating parameters to be configured independently for each channel. It can simultaneously support two motor controllers with different voltage ratings, providing a flexible and efficient solution for EV motor and powertrain testing.

Dual-Channel Bidirectional DC Power Supply Operation
Supports bidirectional energy flow across the full power range, with Constant Voltage (CV), Constant Current (CC), and Constant Power (CP) operating modes. Output voltage, current, and power can be configured as required.
In CV mode, the DC output voltage follows the preset value. When the output or input current exceeds the configured source/load current limit, the system enters CC mode, with the current adjustable through the corresponding source/load settings. The port voltage is determined by the external source or load.
When the external power exceeds the configured source/load power limit, the system enters CP mode, with operating power adjustable through the source/load power settings.
Battery Simulation
1) Battery Type Mode
Supports five built-in battery models: LMO, LCO, LiFePO₄, NMC, and lead-acid. Users can configure the number of cells in series and parallel, as well as the initial SOC. IV curves can be previewed before operation.
2) Custom Battery Mode
Users can define battery characteristics and create custom IV curves. Up to 5 custom IV curve profiles can be stored and recalled when required.
During battery simulation, the system dynamically generates IV curves according to SOC changes and displays SOC, charging/discharging status, output voltage, output current, and output power in real time.
DC Programming
Supports Step and Ramp programming modes. Each mode provides up to 10 programmable profiles, with each profile containing up to 50 data sets.
Emergency Stop
Supports both local and external emergency stop controls. In emergency situations, such as motor runaway, the power output can be quickly shut down via the control panel or external emergency stop switch to help protect the test equipment.
Line Voltage Compensation
Software compensation: Users can configure the output cable impedance, and the system automatically compensates for voltage drops based on the configured line resistance.
Self-Discharge Function
Disabled: After receiving a stop command, the system maintains the current output voltage and quickly disconnects the output.
Enabled: After receiving a stop command, the system rapidly reduces the output voltage to below a safe level before disconnecting the output.
Self-Diagnosis & Protection
Provides comprehensive protection against input overvoltage/undervoltage, overfrequency/underfrequency, overcurrent, and phase loss. Output protection includes overvoltage/undervoltage, overcurrent, overload, overtemperature, reverse polarity, and short circuit, as well as DC bus overvoltage/undervoltage and IGBT overcurrent protection.
The system continuously monitors operating parameters and automatically diagnoses abnormal conditions. In the event of a fault, it rapidly disconnects the main circuit to help prevent damage to internal components.
Communication
Standard interfaces include RS485, Ethernet, and CAN. The system supports remote operation, unattended testing, and integration into automated test systems.
Users can start and stop the power supply, configure operating parameters, and monitor operating status, real-time parameters, and alarm information through the communication interfaces. DBC files are available.
Black Box Function
Automatically stores electrical operating data before and after an alarm event, providing reliable information for fault analysis and troubleshooting.
Pre-Alarm Parameter Settings
Users can configure upper and lower pre-alarm thresholds for voltage, current, and power, with corresponding warning prompts based on operating conditions.
Output Parameter Limits
Upper limits can be configured for output voltage, current, and power. Users can modify these limits to help prevent incorrect operation and potential equipment damage during different testing stages.
Temperature Monitoring
Provides real-time temperature monitoring of critical components, including IGBT modules, transformers, and reactors, to ensure safe and stable operation.
Intelligent Fan Speed Control
The cooling fans automatically switch between off, half-speed, and full-speed modes according to the temperature of internal critical components, reducing operating noise while improving system efficiency.
DC High-Voltage Output Relay Control
The DC output is controlled by a relay, enabling convenient and flexible remote control of the power supply.
Modular Design
The core power units adopt a modular architecture, with standardized modules used for both the PWM rectifier and bidirectional DC/DC converter. A faulty power unit can be quickly replaced to simplify maintenance.
The functional module manufacturing process is standardized, while the laminated busbar design reduces circuit inductance and improves overall system reliability.
